Megève was developed in the 1920s by the Rothschild family to compete with the Swiss ski resort of Saint-Moritz.
The resort is one of the oldest in France, combining luxury and tradition for almost a century.
The name Megève, Medzève in Savoyard, means “in the middle of the waters” in Latin.
